My antivirus (Bitdefender Total Security 2016) just told me Station was malware and deleted it from my computer. Anyone else had this problem? I’ve been using it fine for a couple of months now, nothing has changed in my setup.

Station version 1.12.0
Electron 2.0.0
Chrome 61.0.3163.100
Node8.9.3
v86.1.534.41
Windows 10, v1803

Windows Defender SmartScreen blocks installation on Windows 10
Malwarebytes is now flagging Station 1.20.1 for Windows, as Ransomware
Bitdefender reports that station is acting as ransomware and seem to prevent station from starting
Alarm when installing

I’ve had the same issue after installing the new version 1.17.0.

Hope someone could look into it.

The issue I’m facing is:

Malwarebytes on Windows 10 x64 is now flagging Station as Ransomware, and nuking the Station.exe file.

Here’s the detailed report

  • Trigger: Self-scan of system, by Malwarebytes Premium (v3.5.1.2522).

  • Issue: Program is detected as Ransomware.

Hi. Excited to try out station, unfortunately I’m getting the following message when I try to install. I could override it and continue, but I’m not really a fan of doing that. Thanks.

Hello!

I was installing your executable (from your web page: https://getstation.com/ ) when this alarm appeared.

I don’t know what to do. Could you help me?

The language of the image is Spanish and it reads like this: SmartScreen from Windows Defender prevented the start of an unknown application. If you run this application you could put your computer at risk. Thanks in advance!
